While I don't get online for GW or Guru nearly as often I will try as always to offer help when I can.
Name: Ben, known as Nebu to the community.
Occupation: Network Admin for a very small company called Office Systems
Education: A.A.S from LATI but mostly self taught doing night classes to finish off a B.A. Only Cert so far is A+(long ago) but taking my CCNA July 9th. Network+ is on the horizon this year and Security+ in the next couple when I feel ready
Stong points: General PC's with a focus on OCing. I love to do it myself but don't really recommend it anymore except for fun. General troubleshooting for Windows OS's and just getting serious into Linux and OSS.
Weaknesses: Programming in just about every form. While I have basic skills in some types I just do not enjoy dealing with code. Linux CLI is the closest to code work that I enjoy.
Accomplishments: Besides maintaining a functional network with mostly computer illiterate people(lol) personal things such as volt modding mobos and GC's, and generally building Frankenstein PC's. Yes, I not only own a soldering gun, I aint afraid to use it =]. With my promotion to network admin however I have a lot less time for my fun stuff =[.
I think you will do well Rhaja and am happy to see you take this role. Like I already said, while I don't log in very often anymore I am always willing to lend a helping hand. GL to making this the best tech forum out there, we have a lot of great people on here who lend a hand.

Have you on my short list as well. All of the intelligent posters who commonly help people are on the short list. Again, I want to keep the starting group small and streamlined. Makes the transition easier. There are some pretty cool changes coming to this area of the forums, and I think everyone will be better off for it.

Solved my problem with Vent64. The fault lay with *drumroll* nVidia Forceware networking controller! Uninstalled it (who needs pairing anyway ) and 64 bits of Ventrilo goodness is mine.
Now all I need is someone to log on, other than those 2 guys in the HA section

Name: Tarun
Occupation: Head PC Technician, student
Education: End User Support degree
Areas of Expertise: Malicious software, Windows software, Windows security, Windows internals, troubleshooting and diagnosis.
Areas of Weakness: The C# programming language; I have only recently started programming with this language, I am proactively studying and writing applications to help users all over the Internet.
Accomplishments: Running my own website: http://lunarsoft.net/, the Lunarsoft wiki which has recently acquired several useful articles from the DjLizard wiki: http://wiki.lunarsoft.net/, helping to support Dial-a-fix and JavaRa, learning C# to create a program to help users remove malicious software and helping contribute advice on several forums including here on Guru, MSFN where I became a supermod about 2 years ago, and several other forums I frequent. I'm a beta tester for Microsoft also, and also beta test other companies applications like Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and RogueRemover programs.
----
I really wish I saw this when it was first posted. I would have loved to apply sooner but I unfortunately have been combating a very bad head cold/allergies that have left me with virtually no energy.

Have no fear, as stated in my PMs. Application processed, shortlist updated. Forum restructuring plans still in works. Might be a week or two, but they are coming.

Working on the Vent thing, have had issues as my mother-in-law (whom I love dearly) has been in the hospital in another county and my wife is there with her-which means my money is there with her as well.
If nothing else, I can type 70WPM when I get going. And I'm just fine with doing that.
