Its been over a year since i last formated my pc and from the performance i get its about time i do it.

My question is: Can my GW Dat. file be backed up and restored to my GW folder when im done reformating and reinstalling the game?

You can simply copy the gw.dat file and put it somewhere else.

There is however a small chance that the gw.dat file gets corrupted and you might get messed up graphics or strange behaviour when you restore it.

The best thing to do is just download everything with -image when your asleep or away from your computer.

Gonna try backing up and if it fails will go with the -image thing.
