Try contacting Comcast directly about accessing the email for that account, most likely the account is still being held for you, so no one else can access it. I had a Comcast account, but switched to a different cable provider, and switched back to Comcast when they bought my cable provider, my previous was still locked (5 years later) and I had to petition for them to relesae the account back to me, which they did 8 months after filing petition.
