Could be several problems.
First try a reboot and try again Then check firewall doubt you have to shut it down you should get a *** wants to connect, message if its a decent firewall. So just check you didnt block it. Could be the download center is experiencing problems Could be your ISP If you cannot trace the problem to your computer or internet server then try again another time. |

What virus protection do you have? You may need to add guild wars/arenanet to an Exceptions list to allow it to download any data.
