Default Blue screen due to video card

Does anyone know if it is possible to get the game to run with a ATI Radeon HD 2400 Series AGP [ VX1935wm ] video card without replacing it?

Thanks,

If what you are asking is can the game be played with a card that blue screens you, no. The ati card, if good should run the game.

If you need to replace the card there are a bunch that will run GW at under $50. I have an old pc (3.2 ghz p4) with an EVGA 7600 gt ( goes for around 40 bucks) that runs the game at 34-40ish fps

good luck

Yes, it's possible to run GW on an ATI HD2400. If you are getting BSODs it's not because the card won't run GW, it would be bad drivers, or some other problem.

Always assume drivers when a BSOD is caused by a graphics related issue. Hardware is last to blame.

The 2400 will play it at more than acceptable fps rates... go to your manufacturers website and download the latest drivers as a likely fix.

Yes, drivers do help somewhat. I had this ancient 1998 computer and I updated drivers and the FPS went up 4 frames. That's not amazing, but at least it plays more acceptably now.
