3D output error
Ok, I just got done wiping my computer yesterday, starting fresh again. Last night I left Guild Wars -image. Wake up this morning to play Guild Wars and I get an error.
I never ever had problems like this before I rebooted my computer. What I'm thinking is that I haven't updated my video driver, which I have no idea how to. I haven't done anything with my video driver for years, so I forgot how.
And yes I have DirectX9 and my computer can run it.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

you forgot to install your video drivers. go find the latest one available for your graphic device and install it.

Ya, I was guessing that. I've been searching through how to update my driver. I think I'm doing it right, but I don't know.
What I did:
Right Clicked My Computer->Properties-> Hardware->Device Manager
Then this pops up
I try to update the Video Controller but it has an error. I really have no idea whats wrong or if I'm doing this right...
I also just did Window Update, but it seems to be not working, but I don't think it has anything to do with this.

ive had this exact same problem which is why ive had to stay off guildwars for 3 weeks
i know its to do with the video card driver, as i have directX 9c.
only problem is that its an intergrated video card on this computer but cannot find the details of the card anywhere.
ive done a directx diagnostics test too and just tells me i have no 3d output.
this was also due to wiping of the computer.
is your graphics card intergrated? hope someone can help.

check your computer's user manual (i'm assuming it's a prebuilt machine), it will tell you exactly what it is.
alternatively, if you don't have the manual, tell us your computer's make and model, and we can generally find it for you.
