STOP WHINING!

Unfortunately, whining will do nothing to fix this problem. Anet has already been notified in at least 5 severate threads and they are working on solving the issue. And no matter what you would like to think, blaming them does not get the problem solved any sooner. Plenty of sites have server failures, but the data displayed remains fairly constant and is not a problem. Anet however, provides FREE GAMEPLAY, currently WEEKLY WEEKEND EVENTS, and SEVERAL UPDATES PER WEEK. Are you really so dependant on video games that you can't do something else for the few hours that the servers are down?

I can understand that you are frusterated, but I can assure you that Anet is working as quickly as possible to fix this but the servers will probably be down for at least another hour. I know that server issues are not fun, as I have had to find the source of the problems on several web pages that I have worked on. With all the updates they are pumping out, there is bound to be small errors here and there which quickly add up to cause problems like this. JUST RELAX! IT'S CALLED LIFE- STUFF HAPPENS, SO GET OVER IT!

Well, it looks liek it was some error duringthat last update because we lost access in noth america right after the update. The annoying part for me is that is so well documented in all these forums but the anet website shows "No Network News." If they would acknowledge the problem and post something there liek maybe an ETA on when its going to be back up... then Id be a bit happier.

No need to bash Anet though, I think i can count the number of times servers have been down for me on one hand since launch of the first game. Just want it fixed soon.

It has nothing to with the update because we had a full deep team ready to go and then the update showed up. All of us reconnected and downloaded it then 20 minutes in a quarter of the team error 7's. I'm still not able to connect.

I would assume the ETA on getting back up again would be the same as when the last time the Europe servers crashed. A coupld of hours. And one hour has passed ...

And I still have all day to go. Got to love saturday's with nothing to do.

I believe the reason why these threads go on is people like to have their say, have a conversation about it etc with the attempt to do something besides play GW (which they cant).

Plus we are also waiting for some official information about it.
eg Gaile Grey (spokesperson) giving us an update seeing as manyof us have tried to find out info on the official site and the announcement box at the log in screen (which isnt there at the moment).

Advise: Chill out, happily post, watch porn, read a book etc etc etc.
But dont bother telling people what to do m8. Its futile.

well atleast you can go outside and see the daylight, im bored at home at 10 pm with nothing to do T_T

Update - Friday August 4

Modified henchmen respawn behavior in PVP battles. Henchmen with 60% Death Penalty will not respawn when they die.
Fixed a bug in Elite missions that caused rare items to drop less frequently than intended during the Elite Weekend event.

wow i thouhg i wa sonly one that coun't get in what hell is going on i can't log in either i thouhg it was my net so i reboot my net then i did it again it still won't let me in i think this elite event has bug in it also it happent o europe server to last night or yesterday so we aint onyl one with same promble

Well, got me thinking, off topic on the error=58, the nerfs that anet has resently done, and the whole "WoW Vs Gw" Thing, Im gonna switch to WoW to make anet feel sorry about they're nerfs! >:0
