Eye of the North
Erm, Not sure if this goes here but in any case. I've installed Guild Wars Eye of the north. I went into game with a game character lvl10 and went to Bendah. As it says to, though the related quest doesn't show up.
I've ran the disk again and it says play, instead of install. So could someone give me suggestions on what might be wrong?
Also where does the game install it to?

Might be a dumb question but you did add the access key to your account right?

Crap. Okay so the access key i have is too short. Fills in only three of the five spaces. Why doesn't it want to work?

Where did you buy your key? It should be 25 characters long.

Maybe your reading the wrong section of the key thing. Its quite a common mistake, try any other number on it, or opening and tabs on it.

I got the game from gamestop, and the key is only around 10 numbers long. It's also the only set of numbers other then a lineage 2 trial key.

might want to check to see if there is another one in the box.
Both my Factions and Nightfall boxes had two sets with access keys, one for the game and one for trials.

You don't use your CD to play the game, the entire game client including content you may not even be able to access yet is all on your Hard Drive. All you need to do is add the EOTN key from the CD case onto your account to "gain access" to that part of the game.
EDIT: It might be inside of a small black piece of paper which has perforated edges about half inch from the edge on 3 sides. Might even be the ncsoft leaflet thing you mentioned, Thats it, crack it open and theres your game key.

where on the case? there are several sets of numbers on the cd case. Though none of them would appear to work with the five set code.
nothing like the usual black sheet of paper. I should probably go back to the store tomorrow. I really can't find the black sheet.

Open it up. See the dash marks, about a centimeter in from the outer edge? Those are perforated marks, open the paper along those lines. The access code is inside.

My collectors edition on Factions didn't come with an key code (despite coming from Amazon and being still sealed.). I contacted support and gave em a scan of my receipt and the box barcode and they got back to me with an access key after a day or two. Maybe your EotN didnt have one either. Just a thought ...
