@Tarun; what's your diagnosis of this? If the tracert is showing all hops connected, what is it that's not getting through?
I vaguely remember something similar happening with my ISP a long ways back - nobody in Britain using BT Internet could play GW but I never did find out exactly what was going on. "Traffic shaping" maybe?

Since it's nothing local (in the home) it's either the ISP or, as usual, Anet.

I've seen similar problemswith other MMORPGs, all with different causes:
1) Your ISP is "upgrading" during those times because they are the slow times. Turning stuff on and off
2) Someone is pirating and a lazy admin blocked them via wildcard-blocking IPs. You happen to be using those to connect to Anet
3) Traffic throttling. A LOT of people are downloading at that time, so they throttle the bandwidth.
#1 happened to me, every damn night at the same time. Finally I called and they admitted thats when they were doing upgrades. I got credit on my bill for all time lost

I was in GToB last night when you mentioned this in !All. To me, it's one of two things,
1, is a setting in the router that works between the times stated. Or
2, it's your ISP. And I'm leaning towards your ISP.
According to my firewall, when I play GW's normally it maintains 3 connections. One is to the friends server, and the other two are to the 'map' server. What I suspect is that your ISP is blocking one of the two connections to the map server (as it is to the same IP and port). And this will likely result in the problem you are having.
So I would go back to your ISP and tell them to stop playing silly buggers with your net connection. Unless you do have some carp router setting only allowing 1 connection per IP or port

I had an issue like that several years ago. My guess would also be that it's an ISP issue, most likely related to someone or something using too much bandwidth. This could either be some automatic process the ISP is running, or a user who is hogging bandwidth (applies mostly to cable).
As a mini example of that, sometimes, when my son is running his laptop through the wireless connection, my GW lags really badly if he is downloading stuff (large files, such as TV episodes) through iTunes or whatever.

In my parents home (wherei notice this problem) i use a modem not a router, and i or my parents never changed the modem settings ever since we are clients of that ISP (About 6 or 7 years now). So, since i could play GW before w/o any worries and at all times, i assume with 100% sure that its the ISp then :P
