Very strange things happen to my screen when i play.. Please help
This is what happens occasionally whiling playing.
Ive played Guild wars for 4 years, and my laptop can easily run it.
I normally when this happens, i minimize GW, however when i don't the screen goes black and it says something about the driver has stopped responding.
If you know why this is happening i would appreciate it if you could let me know why
Here are the Screenshots.
Thank you.

Just a guess but this leads me to believe it might be an issue with your graphics drivers and re downloading them might help O.o
Edit:
Ewww Sway
Edit Edit:
From Elder in response to another thread. If it really is your drivers this should work. Edited for universality.

That should take care of it for you.

The time that this happened to me my video card was dying. It died completely within a week of this starting.

Your video card may not be dying but it could be overheating.
If you hadn't mentioned it was a laptop I would have advised cleaning the processor fan and heat sink ditto the graphics card if it had one.
Do laptops get a terminal build up of dust just like normal pcs ?

Post your system specs:
Monitor your system temperatures (everest.com has a free version of their software which will do that for you)
Post the temps.
If temps are in order, download latest drivers (do not install yet) then use Driver Sweeper form www.3dguru.com to delete old drivers in Safe mode, then install new drivers in normal mode.
If you still have trouble it may be your gw.dat file is corrupted and needs to be replaced with the "-image" command.
