Hey. I am having problems trying to link an existing GW account to a NCSoft account(mainly because i am not sure how to do it). I have the the username,password, and access to the email for the GW account, but im confused how to link it. I dont have any of the GW game codes except a NF one, but when i type it in there it comes back invalid. I am completely confused and could use all the help possible.

Out of curiosity, why exactly would you want to link them?

First off, the NCSoft master account is a mass of ass and security leaks, second of all, everything you may need to buy, can be bought in the GW store right from the client, and third of all, the only real point to even creating a master account, was for a giveaway storage pane during the 4th anniversary, which was a good 6 months ago.

I suggest you just count the inability to set up an account as a blessing and move on.

Gennadios you should know by now that, to be able to use the in-game store you need to link your account to an NCSoft Master Account.

Please read this before doing so (there are HUGE security problems which can result in your account being hacked)...

^ thats exactly why i want to link it, just someone tell me how to do it, then ill link it once the security breach is resolved.

My bad. To my knowledge that wasn't a requirement when I made my first batch of purchases in the store.

I probably missed the change because I created an account for the storage panes anyway.

When I needed to link an account (storage panes) they told me to start ordering something through the ingame store but cancel before the payment. They said it would require me to make one and link it...If it didn't ask you to it was already linked...I don't however know how to link an existing gw account with an existing plaync account sorry...

Is it odd to be posting while im on vacation?

No, we often post while you're on vacation.

On topic - as has been suggested......
During the "free storage pane" promotion, you had to "purchase" the pane through your PlayNC account. During the process you had to link your GW account to PlayNC. So, just try to purchase some GW related item through PlayNC and quit the process after the accounts are linked.

@Gennadios - it saves a lot of time, reading, and forum space if you at least try to answer the OP's question instead of only voicing your own opinions about why he shouldn't want to link them.
