CD Burner Help!
Hopefully you can all give me a better idea what the problem is before I call Dell support to have them come repair it.
I have a Dell Inispirion E1505 that has a CD/DVD player+CD Burner. Recently I tried to burn a CD from iTunes. It started out as normal and burned the first 5 songs no problem. Then when it said it had 6 mins left it all of a sudden stopped. I could not play the disc nor could I eject it. It seemed as though my CD drive had just completely shut down. I had to restart my computer before it would let me eject the CD. I can run DVD's and CD's, I just cannot burn CDs. So anyone have any idea what it might be? (I have run many different virus scanners and have found no viruses) |
