I've had my FP202W BENQ 20 inch monitor for what seems like 15 months now and had no problems until recently when these faint horizontal lines started showing up as if the text/pictures i were viewing were smudged to the right. The problem mainly occurs on black and white pages and is barely visible while in a game or watching a movie.

Hopefully I've explained it well enough.

It may be a video card problem, but that doesn't sound too likely, based on what you have described. The best way to verify that it is indeed the monitor is to find another one and hook it up to your computer. If the problem dissapears, then you know that it is indeed your original monitor and if so your best bet is to hope that you have it under warranty still.

best way to check a monitor is hook up to another computer if it still does it its your monitor if its ok it your video card or driver
