Hd 4670
Ok so soon I am getting a new Compy with an HD 4670 installed in it. I've seen what a 4650 can do to oblivion, but I am really curious as to what Guild Wars will look like on this card. Does anyone have a video showing what it will look like, or should? I can find games like COD5 and WoW, but there is a lack of any GW videos (on youtube at least).
What kind of FPS will I be seeing in Prophecies, and then Eye of the north?
Can anyone help?

it would look like... guild wars. the graphic card is certainly not going to make the game look magically better. the 4670 is capable of running GW at maximum settings, so the game will look like GW at maximum settings.
as for your second question, it depends on resolution. however, assuming it is not higher than 1680x1050, it would be at least 60 fps in both.
if you really want to know what GW looks like a maximum, go to my youtube page:

keep in mind that all the videos have been resized, and video compression have taken away some of the quality.

the 4670 will kick Guild Wars all over the place, I don't know the FPS personally, but GW runs great on a variety of video cards that are not nearly as powerful as the 4670.

Well my Monitor isn't widescreen, it's kinda old but at least its not the huge boxy type. I run my monitor at 1200 by 1024 I think...Its been ages since I used it and not my laptop.
Wow that looks awesome! It may not be magically better to you, but if I can get 60 FPS in the Icy GWEN dungeons, I will be extremely happy. The only place I got 60 FPS was prophecies looking at the ground, and when I zoomed out it would be 40 fps. GWEN was ok except in some spots.

The 4670 will easily eat Guild Wars for lunch. It will probably run it at ~80-100 FPS in most areas at 1680x1050, with 4x AA enabled.
