Default Asus a7n8x-e Deluxe + AMD Athlon XP 3000+(OLD PC)

Hello everybody,

I have an old PC that I am giving to my brother so he can play some games.

The PC consist on:

Motherboard: Asus a7n8x-e Deluxe
CPU: AMD Athlon XP 3000+
RAM: DDR2 2GB
Case: Thermaltake Shark

Now, we want to add of course some stuff , like a HIS HD 4670 IceQ Native AGP and of course a decent power supply and HDD etc.

This PC will run on a 1024x768 resolution.

He plans to play Starcraft 2 on it and what ever game is capable of. We are planning to install windows 7.

What do you think guys ? Is this possible ? Will this PC run a game like UT3 or the new AvP game?

Thanks

don't know about AvP but it should be ok for UT3 and Starcraft - with that said I would expect the CPU to be your most likely bottleneck although at that resolution it should be ok. It woulld be a better gaming PC under XP too since Windows 7 will use a good portion of that 2GB RAM by itself...
