I was looking at our local paper today in the life section, where there is an article about the consumer electronics in Las Vegas on Jan 8th. There is a picture of a gaming glove called the Peregrine from Iron Will Innovations.
The monitor in the background is fuzzy, but at first glance I thought someone was using it with Guild Wars. Well its not GW....although they do talk about supporting games like WoW and others.
I thought if you havent seen about this at all, you might want to check it out. Its pretty interesting.
Just curious to see whether Anet will end up supporting it. Its interesting for sure, but for me it would be so weird to not have anything to grasp like a keyboard. I guess like anything it would take some time getting used to.
It would be pretty cool to try it out, but I would def want to be able to play with it a couple days before I bought one - I have a feeling that ppl would either love it or hate it with no in between about it. Of course game and app. compatibility is the key here; is this something you would buy if it only worked in 30% of the things you do?
Let us know how it works out, Vogon. I have serious misgivings about gadgets like this, having seen so many "revolutionary" peripherals come and go over the years.
