No display driver?
Hello!
I recently installed windows xp SP3 on my netbook (Asus EEE PC 1015T) and I seem be having a lot of problems getting my display drivers working. :( I've successfully installed catalyst center but I still get "Windows have found new hardware: VGA Controller" every time I log in. It has a yellow ! in the device manager. I've tried uninstalling, reinstalling, scanning for hardware changes, automatically finding the device and even trying to install it myself.
How do I fix this? D:

Catalyst Center is not a video driver, it's just a control app. My guess is that you didn't install the actual driver. There's also the slight possibility that there is no XP driver for that particular hardware.
Was there a particular reason for installing XP?

you also miss drivers for your ethernet card (could be a wifi), and you should install the chipset drivers.
Just install everything you need: http://support.asus.com/Download.asp...1015T&p=20&s=1
Took me literally 20 seconds to find.

Installed both the standalone display driver and catalyst, it produced the same result. I also had a lot of trouble installing both for a while. :x I kept getting "Install package failure"
Reason for installing xp? I want to play forsaken world and the RAM requirement for Windows 7 is recommended 3 GB. :] I have 2, and I use Ubuntu more than windows anyway.
Also I'm well aware of downloading drivers from Asus, I did that and still received the error. D:

I don't know where you got your info, but this site:
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/w...m-requirements
says Windows 7 requires 1Gig, not 3 - which makes sense considering that the netbook came with Windows 7.
Also, following the link Deluxe supplied above, there appears to be no XP driver for the video.
In the long run, unless Forsaken World won't run in Win 7, the easiest solution is to re-install the original system. Even if FW won't run directly under Windows 7, you could try XP compatibility mode.

I think maybe she meant for the game but I googled it and it said the recommended for playing on Windows 7 was 2+ GB.
