your graphic card memory is overheating. are you overclocking? if so, lower the memory clock. if you are not, then check your computer's ventilation.

Moriz is correct. I've gotten that many times on my laptop, because my computer was overheating. Turns out my fan was a little malfunctional. If you're using a laptop too I would recommend looking for one of those cooling stands to use.

I had the same problem either your graphics card is overheated or your computer is running to many things at once and your overloading it so the screen is fuzzy

Another possibility, besides overheating, is that your video card (if you have one) needs to be reseated in it's slot. (Take it out, put it back in.) But overheating is more likely in this case.

ah.. overheating does kinda make sense! however, i'm usually running my pc without its side cover so it is still kinda strange that it'd actually overheat huh

Those artifacts usually indicate a memory problem.

Could either be overheating, graphics card isn't receiving enough power or it's dying.

Running your computer without the side panel disrupts the natural airflow of the case.

Actually, running your computer with the side cover off can cause overheating. The fans that normally draw air through the case can now just suck air in from the side. Meanwhile, some areas of the case can have pockets of dead air. If your case has heat problems it would be better to add an exhaust fan at the rear of the case and put the side back on.
Also, of course, clean out the dust bunnies.

Also, as I said in another thread, your computer could have a thermal fault - a part that fails under normal temperature conditions.

Only graphics problems I got was when I was running texmod, min-maximsing Gw's fixes. Maybe worth a shot? If you're not using texmod, all of the above
