Default Mouse Scrolling

I bought a brand new Microsoft Wireless Optical Mouse, now when I use my mouse wheel to scroll forward and back, my toon don't zoom in or out.

It works with my old one, but not my new one? Makes no sence.

Anyone have any ideas?

Go into the keybindings and manual set it to the mouse wheel?

Does the mouse wheel work on other things, such as scrolling Guru pages up and down?
If not, perhaps the mouse is DoA.

If you disconnect the new mouse and plug in the old mouse, (without making any other changes), does the old mouse still work?

If you plug in both the new mouse and the old mouse at the same time, does the old mouse work, but the new one doesn't?

I use an MS wireless mouse on my HTPC and it works normally in GW. I can't think of any setting that might affect that, except if you installed some sort of software (other than a driver) that came with the new keyboard. If you did install other software, check to see if there's some setting that affects how the mouse wheel works.
