Oh yes forgot to say that: I've already checked the read-only, it's not flagged so it should be able to write also, furthermore I'm main admin on this computer so it can't be a problem with the rights

hey guys, great work with the program, but im having a few problems with mine. :/
When i try to make shortcuts for my copy i get the following error message:
"Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately.
Could not load file or assembly "Interop.IWshRuntimeLibrary, Version= 1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null" or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified."
Hitting continue closes the error box but nothing happens, and hitting quit closes GWML.
I do have an up to do Microsoft .NET Framework, so that isnt the cause of the problem :/
any ideas?

Copying DAT file may fail if there are any other programs which have it open. First thing to make sure is that guild wars isn't open. This tends to lock the dat file down and prevent it from copying. Use Unlocker program if you need to see which program has the gw.dat file open and is preventing you from copying.

Please make sure you have the .dll file which is included with the gwmultilaunch extracted to the folder you are starting the program from. If you are justing double clicking on the exe file instead the zip, you will most likely not have the .dll file in the same directory.

It always was bug free - and it was developed for Vista and works fine on all flavors of 7 too

Got another issue. When i ran the program it wont let me maximize the window - when i click the button it does maximize for a while, like 2 seconds orso, then comes back to window mode. wouldnt be that bad, but the game window is all black and i only can see my mouse. even worse is that when i run GW w/o the multi launcher there is the same issue. any advice?

Is your PC beefy enough to run two instances?

this. Specifically do you has enough memory to handle 2 instances. I personally find memory to be the biggest factor when running multiple clients.

Just cause your on the admin account dosen't mean that every program you open runs as admin. (see attachment)
Before anyone says anything. Yes, I should have a second user account and not be doing anything on the admin account that I don't have to but idc.
Also, I like the flower.

I like the way this runs better than Matty's Guild Wars Multi-Loader that I was using previously. However, since I've started using this on XP Pro 32-bit the original installation of GW (not one of the two additional copies) has thrown up the GW window on attempting to launch where it's repairing the data archive at least 5+ times in the last two weeks since the Embark Beach update. It has not done this at all on the second and third copies, and I use them at least as often as the first. At first I tried copying the .exe and .dat files from the second to the first which resolved the issue temporarily, but it's come back multiple times since. Could this be due to the GWx2 issue mentioned near the beginning of this thread, or some other known issue, or have I stumbled on something not familiar to anyone? I hate the thought of going down the road of uninstalling all copies and installing fresh from the GW site.
Thanks in advance for feedback.
EDIT: I think this can be ignored as it appears I have a bad block on the hard disk. I'll update if I find otherwise.

The past couple weeks I've been having a problem logging in while using the multiloader. Almost everyday the game will freeze and prevent any other accounts from logging in. In order to fix this, I've been deleting the GWMultiLaunchSettings file in the folder, and that seems to allow normal function. This however, forces me to reload all the accounts into the program and relocate the .exe and TM files associated with it. Another guild mate is having the same problems, but we are unsure how to fix it.
Any ideas?

deleting the ini file most likely won't help unless you had some weird switch for running the game.
If the game is freezing up, this may be due to video card overheating or hard drive going bad. GWMultilaunch doesn't do anything in the background once the game has started. Perhaps it may be new display drivers causing this freeze?
If it is a laptop, I'd check for dust/working fan.

This program works great on win7!
However (i know this is nit-picky lol) the icon that appears on the taskbar is very pixelated and an eyesore as i keep it pinned there.
Is there any way to change the icon? not the shortcut icon but the icon when gw-multi is open (that looks like the echo skill).
thanks in advance.
