I didn't think I would find anything with dedicated graphics card for $600 - but lo and behold I did. This will run GW1 flawlessly and ought to handle GW2 when it comes out, albeit with low to medium settings ingame.

The 600$ laptop looks great, if I cant find any cheaper that will do good for gaming I will go with that one.

sure it will run it fine, but it's both recertified and out of stock, so it's a moot point.

Agreed with LifeInfusion.
I personally do not recommend playing (hardware demanding) games at all on a laptop. A laptop is already a bunch of trouble on its own, and it tends to go bad exponentially faster when you do hardware demanding things on it. A desktop is much more sturdy in this respect, and is much cheaper to boot while being able of much better performance.

It's not the CPU, its the GPU (graphics). These Intel cards are simply not for gaming like this. It'll play, but with lower than average frames, and.. at times a couple towns in the game use a graphical effect that will crash when entered on an Intel card 99.9% of the time.
It's a bit late, but my suggestion would have been to get a Laptop that could run with specs that Eye of the North at least requires. Even down to the graphics card. If it says nVidia or ATi whatever is required, do it.

To avoid confusion, please stop referring to the entire computer as a "cpu". The CPU is only one particular part of a computer.
