so in the past few days, for absolutely no reason (nothing hardware/software has changed) my game has become increasingly unpleasant to play. I get constant rubberbanding even though my ping is about 80 avg, my fps is around 130, and nothing seems to be wrong in any area of my computer (heat, speed, space etc)
I try running around in both outposts and outside and my character and all other characters / NPCs move at about half the speed and just like teleport forward about every 3 seconds, so it feels like I'm lagging terribly... but its not lag.
Also, guild wars causes all sound from my computer to be really staticy and clippy.
These problems seem to have come from nowhere and I have reinstalled GW on 2 separate drives, and ran every kind of cleanup utility you can think of.

plz help, this is killing me....

I am sure there could be many reasons for this.

But when I had a similar problem a couple of years ago (and on that occasion support were superb) it turned out to be my ISP, although they denied it - changing ISP sorted it out overnight.

Check your isp forums for others complaining about the same thing

Check generally for problems in your area

Check your connection speed

Download something see if the dl speed is more or less constant.

Wireless connection ? is something interfering with it.
Try connecting via a cable see if its still a problem

So many things it could be, I usually check with friends who play gw and see if they have a problem.
