Okies, so i got this strange GFX problem, this has been ongoing now for months, but it does not happen all the time,

Sometimes the image is far worse, i know when its going to do it, as the screen will lock up then wham, now if i minimize the game and maximize it again the game is fine and will continue to run with no problems until i log out as normal, sometimes i can play or leave the game running for 10+ hours a day, and it will never even jump in the slightest, this only ever happens when im in an explorable area of the game,

Then since the update last week another strange glitch has occured,

In both images you can see the white texture/shadow on the screen, but it doesnt stay there, it flies all over the screen then disappears, again this only happens in explorable areas, i have upgraded drivers to card, made sure its clean and it is,

Im fairly sure the first image is a result of heat, but the temp under full load on the card doesn't go above 50C ( 9800GT ) my old 8800GTX used to run at 90C

Im not overly fussed either way if the card is dying or not, as the entire system is being replaced here in a few weeks anyway.

It doesnt seem to glitch out on any other game.

It looks like your video card is dying or you may possibly have a corrupted gw.dat file, have you tried deleting it and running the "-image" command line?

Nah i haven't tried the -image command line, ill give that a try and see if it helps,

Are you running texmod? (I assume so with ur compass in image 1) this happens to me sometimes with textmod. Of course, i have a MUCH older video card (ATi Mobility Radeon x600...yeah, i know, its loltastic), so maybe mine is dying too, but ima knock on wood that it isnt.

If the memory on your graphics card has become faulty you will experience artifacting like this. However the fact it does not do this in other games points to an issue with texmod possibly.

I do not run textmod, the image above is what happens to the screen after it glitches out, before it just looks like a normal game screen no mods what so ever, i think the GFX card is on its way out.
