Can not log into game.
I recently purchased Guild Wars trilogy digitally from the ncsoft store and added the key to my ncsoft master account. I downloaded the game and entered my ncsoft name as my username and the password for the game, not the ncsoft account but I can not log in, I've reset my password serveral times and it keeps saying my information is incorrect, the game is registered successfully to my ncsoft account so I don't see the problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've copied and pasted the ncsoft mail and typed the password slowly, I'm SURE i'm getting it right. I also have no character yet. Still no luck.
Thanks for the reply though.

Been a long time but dont you have to go to create account or add access key first on the GW login screen?
Your NC account password is not automatically your game password unless you give it the same password when you create a GW account. Which I would recommend NOT doing.

Not if you buy it digitally, you can add it to the ncsoft master account first and then manage the Guild Wars password separately from the ncsoft master account password, which I've done. Then log in with your nscoft account name and game password.

Worth a shot...

If your user name is your NCSoft name, it's probably formatted as: [email protected]
There's no ".com" on the end.
Give that a try.

I've used the NCsoft username without a .com and it still doesn't work, I'm also unable to call them because I am from the UK. I have e-mailed support but I was hoping someone would be able to help me on here.

You probably have but...
did you verify your email addess? Don't think you could dl Guild Wars without email verification but thought I'd ask.
Are you getting a code error number when not being able to connect?
NCsoft FAQ has multiple error codes and explanations.
When you reset password are you getting confirmation that the pw was reset successfully on screen?
Are you getting pw change confirmation emails from NC?

Yeah.. it doesn't seem to help. I get the conformation e-mail it's changed but still won't let me log in. This sucks.

My e-mail that I use on my ncsoft account is verified, I get the conformation in an e-mail when I change it also. The error code I believe is 227
I can't change my password "in game" because my GW is connected through ncsoft.
Sorry if this is a double post.

Ok, some of this may be redundant... just trying to troubleshoot all possibilities:
You have two different passwords if I'm not mistaken... one for the NCSoft website, one for the game. Try both.
You have your NCSoft user name ([email protected]) and an email address associated with your NCSoft account. Try both.
Make sure you're leaving the character name space empty, obviously, since you haven't created any characters yet. If, however, you played the trial... then you DO have a character name and will need to use that.
Your login info is all "case sensitive," so make sure you're typing it all in correctly.
Also, from the NCSoft support site - a way to make sure you're using the correct login for the game:
Quote:
log into NCsoft Account Management and click the Game Accounts link. You will see your game account name listed in the Account column next to the game account you are inquiring about.
