Disconnect whilst salvaging
Hey all,
I seem to keep disconnecting but only when I salvage items fairly quickly. Just wanted to know if sending a lot of mouse clicks to the server within a short period of time will cause me disconnect for any reason.
Just want to state again that I only disconnect when I am salvaging my items.
Thanks,
Kush

re:
Basically this happens because you are attempting to use an item which has been used it. It can be best seen when you have a salvage or identification kit with one use. You double click to use it, then identify/salvage an item and very quickly double click on the kit again. As evidenced by how the icon flashes after each time it's used, I'm led to believe that once you use an ID/salvage kit, the one in your inventory is replaced by an identical one, albeit with one less use. By clicking too quickly, you're in a sense trying to use an item which no longer exists, giving you a connection error. Could you list the number of the error?

From wiki: If you are salvaging fast, you will get the 007 error.
It's a known bug, salvage too quickly = disconnect.
As far as I know, nothing you can do about it but to wait a bit before salvaging.

Yes it's caused by lag. Basically if you try to use kit again before server registered your previous use, it will drop your connection.

The bug i`ll add quickly is one of those that doesnt appear 100% of the time nor hit everyone same time.Ive done fast salvaging along with a guildie in gh and i never d/c but he did every so often - next day he was fine but a few weeks later i had the bug when salvaging a stack of scalps lol.Btw relogging in and out a few times doesnt seem to effect it.

When you reconnect, drop the kit and pick it back up, you should be able to continue salvaging without further disconnections.

would that count for this particular kit or for all kits you will use until you log/zone or whatever

Eh, I just find that I go my normal speed and watch for the little green bubble to go red, then I stop and wait for it to "calm down". I salvage a lot of scorched lodestones.
