What event are you talking about? The last event i know of ended apx 6 days ago... nothing new announced yet.

How do they usually handle duping situations? I just bought a few sapphires an hour ago, do they usually do a rollback, delete the items, or what?

eotn rep event or double fame. it was suppose to be eotn weeked starting today but it turned out to be double fame. they dont seem to annouce this stuff anymore but its on guildwarswiki

well from what i have heard that duping has been taking place for at least a week now i really hope there is a rollback but @ the same time i am going to loose so much ecto sold a unded oni and several stacks of goodies over event.

I had the honor to be playing last time when the DC dupe was going on.
It was a 1 or 2 days rollback. It all depends. Back then everything was dupeable.
Seems that every 4 years when I come back to the game for some reason, I have to put up with this crap.

I actually do remember the armbrace dupe rollback of 2007. I didn't know what was going on at that time, since I had just started playing, but now I do.

I remember one time when ectos dropped in price at the rare material trader and they never did a roll back.
I can't remember how much the price was however people bought tons. I was at work at the time. That was one of the ways how the rich got richer in the game.

If they roll back they will be gone.

If they just delete duped items, unless they had <customized for xxx> on them, you probably shouldnt see any difference.

Remember though even if they do roll back the server you will still get the money back which you used to pay for the Sapphires.

Umm, yeah, it's linked to about three times at the top of this page

But yeah, I really hope there's no rollback, a bit annoying for me as I would lose so gold, but worse for all the people who ran me through the ZM :/

Edit, yup looks like no rollback, just a crash fix apparently
