Game Freezes
First of all let me say, ITS NOT my graphics card, it handles gw2 just fine, no problems EVER, but since Holloween my gw1 freezes up nearly once or twice a day, and/OR I get disconnects for no reason and my nternet is fine, because again, I DO NOT get this on gw2(higher graphics requirey).. and again only happened after gw1 halloween... just wondering if anyone else is having the same issues?

Ah, kk, just the few people I've noticed asking in game, I've asked what OS they were using, and they all replied windows 8.1(like me), and we've noticed the freezes happen after not shutting down our computers for more then 1-2 nghts, like the windows 8.1 OS cant handle medium graphics after a certain amount of time of being on, so now I make sure I shut my computer offf every night to avoid this problem.
and with shutting down=no more freezes.

I get freezes from time to time, but I know its my computer not handling all the stuff its trying to run at the same time (the old 'out of memory' error type ). I usually have to shut down a bunch of stuff on mine to get my fps back up to double digits (and no, not windows 8...much older os here, MUCH).

no, would never ever in my nightmares use that ....that....I cant say it...but no, I have not now, nor ever, owned that os...(shivers)....(most folks try to forget that one as well as ME and 8---)....(can it even play gw?)
(I have the same os as I did when I started playing, just a newer computer and a few dozen updates since)

8.1 plays it fine, aslong as the computer isn't left on for more then 1 night(I.E 2 or more nights) thats when you get the freezes, Vista wasn't half bad, I didnt think so anyway, and Yes Vista can play GW easily even after 3 days of leaving the computer on, infact I've had more driver problems on w7 OS's and XP OS's then I have on 8.1 or Vista for GW1(never used w8 or wME for gw)... but strangely enough, w8.1 will still play gw2 perfectly fine even after 2 days of being left on).. its just the gw1 it doesn't like after 1 days without being turned off... and all the people i Talk to have noticed the same thing. who are running 8.1, but turn it off before bed and everything runs smooth.
