Ok need some help
here ill start with my specs
Pent 4, 2.6 gig. With HT
80 gig hard dirve with only about 30 of the hard drive used
Internet connection: comcast cable of New Jersey
800 fbs
Windows XP
512ddr ram
ati 9600xt all in wonder Video card
Well i notice I lag sometimes and i would like to know what could be causeing it . Do you think i need more ram? i turned down alot of the settings video and stuff even though it tells me i can use much higher and i still get the little lag every 10-12 steps .
Also if you do think its my Ram how much should i get? and How do i find out what kinda ram that is compatable for my system.

Well, depending on if you have any other programs running that take up memory and CPU space, such as yahoo messenger which takes a FAWKLOAD up lol, that could be a problem...
now onto the q about could it be your memory, YES it could, if you could give me the makers of it i could tell you, best makers of ram are: mushkin, kingston, and corsair (XMS series if you can afford that shat )
now then, ive discovered a gig of ram is PERFECT for running guild wars.
LASTLY, do you know what speed your ram runs at? if its 2700 upgrade and get two [email protected] with low timings, and you wont have ANY lag lol, and i can guarantee it, hope this answered your questions!

hmm i think its 2700 and its samsug i think two 256 sticks
does it matter what kinda i get can i mix and match sticks i got 4 slots
also how much does ram cost.
