^ hahhaha yeah.. but you know whenever i sugest upgrading the computer to my dad hes like"well it works fine for me" ...... I know dell is ---- but theres nothing i can do about it in my current situation... So really my only hope is to get a new ram stick.. i guess i will go with the kingston...
Kingston has been around for an extremely long time. They are easily one of the most reliable, and in my opinion one of the best memory companies out there. If you find what you need in Kingston, then by all means go for it, you won't be making a bad choice. Also, just tell your dad, it may run fine for him, but it will just make it run better, and what is wrong with that eh? Then tell him he doesn't have to pay for it, lol
on a more amusing note, at work this weekend, we took apart a very old IBM ThinkPad. Guess what it had in it. A 16mb stick of Kingston memory, lol. Just goes to show you how long it has been around, when 16mb was a standard.
