I have been getting very unplayable pings for the past week, I have had an over 180k ping when loading up FoW, this weekened now has been pretty pointless for me as I can't even see where i am most of the time, I was going to attempt to get lots of ectos as I am working on FoW armor for my monk, but as it takes so long to cast spells i am dead before i can see i have taken any damage.
The only good news is that it seems to go after 24:00 gmt, and seems to start around 13:00 gmt... peak times for servers?

just been in touch with support, they said it's my drivers for my graphics card. Who knows, its worth a shot. I even tried re-connectiong my wireless router, still and average ping of 6000. If this works, i'll be a very happy person

support just passes the bucket. Not my ISP ,not my computer, anet its your servers.
I played some gvgs yesterday night with a normal ping, but if I tried going to an outpost it was back to 40,000ms.

Of course they pass the buck! The monkeys knows as ANet support will never admit there's a lag problem in the same way as they refuse to admit there's a problem with some dual-core systems. They just don't seem to care about their customers at all!

It would be nice if Anet would tell us if they have decided to save money with cheaper servers as it could have a bad impact on there reputation. If this is how they treat us know how can we be sure of the quality of GW2?
Due to this I think they will loose alot of customers due to there pretty poor customer service as they just blame everyone else and it cant be there fault because they are so great.

Funny thing happened, got the New Build announcement in game, logged off, did the -image thing, logged on. Spent 15 minutes in presear Ascalon, then went Charr hunting. After one run through, came back to town to sell stuff and help with 3 res sigs quests. The whole time I was lag free.
As suddenly as it appeared, it has disappeared.
What was in that update?

I ended up with the 007 error like a week ago when the update was there tried everything and in the end i reinstalled gw that didn't even help so after that i say heck why not try and move my GW.dat file out and redownload well that actually solved the problem cause i wasn't even able to log in, yes it's a pain you have to redownload the full image (+- 3.7 gb here) but it solved even the 058 error
