STORAGE where
the collector who will trade 5 Skale Fins for a bag...
will he trade more than once or do you need to get the others elsewhere? HOW is the fastest way a new level 1 character can get all the available storage and where ? |

The collector trades 5 Skale Fins for a Belt Pouch, not one of the bags - those need to be purchased seperately from Outfitters in the Post-Searing world. Because of this, there isn't really a 'fastest' way - the additional storage comes in time.
While we're on the subject, for anyone that reads this and doesn't know - It's also worth noting that, as of the last BWE, the Collector (just outside of Pre-Searing Ascalon, near the ressurection shrine) is currently the only way to get a Belt Pouch. I would imagine this being subject to change, but .. useful to know in the meantime, regardless. |

Can I take a moment and complain about gold sinks here. That's all this new storage system is, is a gold sink and I dislike it greatly.
Just give us 1 decent sized storage bag from the start. There's no need to build your way up in storage. I need just as much storage space at level 1 as I do at 20. |

I just wish that you could CRAFT bags and sell them (if you wanted to).

It's a gold sink, but not the useful kind - this system just pulls wealth off of the bottom, from new characters who can least afford it. Once you get over that speedbump (aka, pharm for an hour), then it does nothing. The rich don't care, and the poor get poorer - pretty much the exact opposite of what you want in a gold sink.
Peace, -CxE

Real gold sink = Dyes being made extremely rare.
No battle mechanics effect and people who want to look badass will pay out of their posteriors to do so. I remember when the term "Luxury" meant something. Basics should never be costly. Storage as a gold sink != Logical. Make Dyes rare/expensive darnit. |

The bag system doesn't bother me all that much, but it really is nothing more than a flawed gold sink. If it were actually about being able to expand your storage, a better idea would have been to keep the old inventory system and allow you to expand it somehow through a quest or something.

The cost of dye and the cost of items should vary from place to place that you are in... it's a game... should be that you have to find the best deal for what you are looking for.
Oh, I don't see the point in dye for "Looking bad ass", the dye is nice yes, but if you don't have the skills or know how to use them. Then the dye is a point that is wasted (money also). The players that are truely bad ass to begin with, wait until they have the skills and have "earned the right" to be "Bad Ass". Because they are at that time truely "Bad". |

Yeah, I don't know anything about this because I have never played, but I hope not having an inventory wont make me hate this game....
I agree with Hilts but also, there are more reasons for dye. People want to be different. People wnat to look how they want, so yeah... |

well you'll eventually have the full inventory, you'll just have to quest, raise money, and purchase it.

i dont mind the ag system, but i think they should give you a bigger bag in the start and you can gain smaller bags on your way up levels
