Guild Rankings? - Guild Wars Forums

Just checking ... on the release date are the guild rankings going back to zero as weel as player levels and items? Of course I'd assume this ... but assumption is the key to failure and this ways whether or not I'm building a guild/group or joining another. I got the time, knowledge and such to manage a gaming community but if I gotta start with one armtied behind my back then I'd be more tempted to join another premade guild.

Items and characters will be wiped. Guilds rankings will be reset. Gaile confirmed guilds will carry over into release as will character names. People who preorder can start playing on April 27th, so they will have a one day advantage over everyone else. Those people's characters will carry over, items and all.

One day may not sound like much of an advantage but I suspect it will be based upon the three day events. Perfect time to abuse the item-lacking vendors for the best price.
