Preordering GW and Getting Pass
Ok im planning on pre-ordering GW, Im a lover of WoW,im a lvl 34 named Lumia in WoW, and I love it - but this game looks so much more in depth..let me explain. And I also love how this game is looking. The way the dungeons and gamplay looks is so awesome looking in GW, and this is coming from a bigg WoW fan!
Now if I pre-order GW will I be able to play once I get a key in mail? please tell me, in other words, will I be able to play right away? or wait? Thanks! |

That really depends on where you order from... if you go to a physical location and pick up the Pre-Order box, it will have a Beta Key in it.
I've heard that some online stores will send you the Beta Key in an e-mail... and others will just send you the game on April 28 or whatever... In any case, contact the store you want to pre-order from and ask. If you do get a Beta Key, you can play next weekend (March 18-20)... and then again on April 15-17... but only on those days with your Beta Key.

Love it or hate it? I doubt it. There will be haters, but that is the norm of all games. Seriously, there's a lot to this game.
Saving myself from retyping a response like this so many times I'll list a few things that I enjoy about Guild Wars 1) No Monthly Fee. 2) PvP that makes a real effort to maintain a sense of balance 3) Low level Cap (20)... means I don't have to spend an obscene amount of time getting to the max level. Besides, the game really only "starts" once your level 20. 4) Varying difficulty. The game is as competitive or as relaxed as you want it to be. Overall, I think the game is very accessible to anyone who gives it a chance. You're never THAT far behind anyone, because of the level cap. Creating new characters is worth it and the game allows for a lot of creativity and rewards you for it.
