Choosing Secondary Skill - Guild Wars Forums

I chose to be an archer, but how am I able to select my secondary skill?

It wasn't an option when I made my character.

Do I have to level up?

Also, when will I be able to have more than one weapon out, I have to switch under my inventory every time.

(sorry, I'm new to rpg's as well as MMO games)

You have to find trainers for your secondary profession. Each trainer gives you (rough) directions where the others are.

For weapons: you've got 4 wepon slots, left of your skill bar. You can switch between the slots by clicking on them of pressing F1-F4.
