Dumb question. I am lost.
I notice a lot of the quests you get in Ashford tell you to go North. I have tried going North. I have tried going over the bridge and turn north. I have crossed the wormy fields and turned North. They all take me back to Ascalon! What am I doing wrong? Also the signposts at the far end of Ashford are pointing back to the town and into the rocks.

There seem to be a lot of parts to the game that assume the player knows what they are doing. It's one thing to be a puzzle (Like the gate for the Wall quest) but quite another when you get told to do something but not get told information necessary to do it, like where to go or what to do when you get there.
Never fear, you're not alone... ^_^ Dave III |

So if I want to get through the gate i have to find someone to do the lever? Then do they have to stay on the top of the wall? How do I get back out? Is it a big area? I can hardly wait till next month.

The way it worked for me:
One person went up and hit the lever. the other went down and waited by the door, when it opened, they dashed through and when they hit the other side both were transported to the next area. It seemed like they were trying to force a co-operative thing there. since very little else there (that I could see) needed two people, I'm not sure it was such a good plan. Myself, I'd prefer it if they had Solo quests and Party quests. But that's just me. ^_^ Dave III |
