Guild registration
I have just made a website for the guild i plan to create once the game starts (or in the coming BWE if anyone would be so kind as to lend me one ). How do you create a guild in guild wars? does it cost money? how much? and how many people do you need in it?

Well, First you need a Celestial Sigil, Which you can buy in town or acquire in Tombs... Lions Arch Guild Vendor sells one for I think a little over 100gold. Then you just go to Guild register(NPC names may be off or misspelled) with it, and pay (I think) 10 gold. There you have a guild. 1 Person is all it takes. I am not sure how long you can stay a guild as 1 person.
Then it also costs 100gold to make and customize a cape. |

To start a Guild in the game, all you need to do is: Talk to the Guild Registrar, found in the major cities, pay the Guild Fee, don't know what it is right now, and start inviting your members. There is no required amount of member for your Guild, but the max is 100.
I thought they took the Celstial Signet out last event, maybe I'm wrong? Either way it can still be looked at as a "Fee." |

Edit: To obtain a Guild Hall, it is necessary to have a Celestial Sigil, either by obtaining one in the Tombs or paying the 1,815 gold upfront. Last edited by William of Orange; Mar 28, 2005 at 05:53 AM // 05:53.. Reason: Added |

Yes. A Guild is another term for a clan.
Guild Wars is the second game I've come across that has 'guilds'. The first is Rune (and Rune: Halls of Valhalla). There is no 'official' way to make a clan. You provide your own forums and do your own crap. Then you have guilds, which are like wannabe clans... but they're not. In Rune, a guild is something that members of different clans can be in together. And nobody cares... |
