What would be more fun!?
Which would be more fun to play? A warrior or a Ranger. I like the idea of chaming pets and dealing some nice damage with a bow. Yet I also like the idea of having a dazzling sword showing people whats for. I have pretty much giving up on my necromancer idea. Heh. However I have come at another crossroad.

I have always favored the Bow. Even in my old D&D days way back in the day. But I could not make up my mind so I made two chars. some people see shooting somebody from a far as the cheap way but I see it as skill.

Not to state the obvious to be mean or anything but you could try a warrior/ranger or ranger/warrior and get the best of both worlds? Just a thought man

Yeah see tI forgot to mention that Id do W/N or R/E so for warrir i could do that vampric touch and what not. And for ranger i could have some nifty spells for those just-in-case moments.

Hey, yes, preferably i would go warrior for fun. Swords look really threatening and cool, and it takes alot of skill to be good!!!

I prefer bows followed by... the axe and hammer.
Never could understand sword fans in GW, but hey experiment with both. Doesn't take long to bring a char to decent level afterall. |

Try them as primary/secondary (either way) or use one for two seperate characters. Lots of learning either way. IMO I love tanking and being the front line but I have a ranger character too and she's hella fun... probably cuz her secondary is a Mesmer and loves sucking the life outta the incompetents she comes across! Not that that has been too many since she's still in Pre-Seared Ascalon sitting at lvl 3 right now.

If you really can't decide, ask your guildmates if there are any positions that need filling.

Also, male rangers are way more attractive than male warriors. |

Rangers look more..."suave" than Warriors do in my opinion. But I'm partial to sniping people myself, so Ranger was just a natural choice.
At some point in time, I'll have run through every profession, so I'll get a feel for which one I like better according to how they actually play rather than how they look. |

Hey, no matter what mask you take for ranger, it still looks decently cool. To be a power gamer, you have to look stupid. A porridge bowl for a helmet, some funky armour with stripes, and a whole bunch of other stuff. A ranger on the other hand, just needs druid set. Wow, decisions decisions.
