Alright, my review...
Graphics are beyond amazing, especially considering the computer requirements... a few glitches ive seen here and there, but we have to remember that this is beta season... Sounds... they are good, but get old for me after a while, and i shut it off. Gameplay is normaly pretty fast and exciting, with no down time, but alot of quest directions can be hard to follow if you don't know the game. Begining can be slow if you don't know where to go / what to do, but ive played three beta's and the e3, so i know where to go and what to do... so it's wonderfull for me. that's just the pve... Pvp... gets its own review considering classes are equalized unlike ANY game has ever come even CLOSE to. which is of course, the main reason i want to play it... equalizing players and not crippling them based on the type of character they choose is wonderfull. The pvp can go for any taste... quick battles... go to the 4v4... even tho sometimes you get a wonderfull group and it lasts longer then hell, and the tomb battles, and what ive played as a mix of king of the mountain and capture the flag such things... it takes a great deal of stradegy and people actually listening... which is why that part has chosen parties unlike the random 4v4, even tho they're implying a 4v4 chosen team for next beta as i've heard... Well, my honest review has the very few con's that this game has, but no matter what your taste in game... besides, like... everquest... sitting around and kill one group of monsters till you reach whatever level... then this isnt it... it has a low lvl max for a reason, and it's great, because the new skills you find from going onto the "next mission" make you better, and may make a great combo with the skills you already have... edit:: want a number... i give it a 10 considering it's taking the best of any game i like and putting it all together. I'm sure of the fact that i will stay interested in this game for alot longer then anything ive played as of yet. and the great thing is... i don't have to grind my life time into it!! you can just play it every now and then, and if you have the right mix of skills, you'll always be GREAT, maybe not the best... but still great. But there will also be 60-70 explorable areas (compared to 30-40 today), presumably with lots of quests which contribute to the backstory. |

We're on a GW fansite so I feel compelled to say: r0x0rz /\/\y 50(kz0rz (now where's my l33t translator ?).
It's honestly the best game in its category. A lot better and more interesting than traditional MMORPGs with a lot more more depth and strategy than shooters or other fast paced games. Give it a try and you'll be hooked. |

welll it's kinda ovious if you go to a dedicated guild wars website you will mainly get great reviews about the game here and if u were to ask on a wow site you'd be flamed out ur butt... so the best bet is to play in a beta and see for yourself

Very samll issues that are being or have been already worked out. AS the previous poster just stated: Go out and try it. Get the preorder for $5 and try it out next weekend. April 15-17th. You like? You continue playing and pick up the full game. You dont like...you have saved yourself $45 and time spent playing a game you dont like. |
