charm animal with beast mastery...
how does my points distributed to beasted mastery affect the linked skill charm animal?
would i be able to use it affectively even if im only interested in that particular skill in beast mastery and didnt distribute any points to that attribute? im asking this because i dont see any modifiers in the skill's description... |

Your level of Beast Mastery has no effect on charm animal. If the only beast mastery skill you intend to bring along is charm animal, and possibly a skill to rez them if they die, I wouldn't bother investing any points in Beast Mastery. It's one of those linked skills with no variables, like Balthazar's Spirit for a Monk.

the beast mastery attribute may or may not influence the amount of damage your pet can do, much like your weapons attribute influences the amount of damage you can do with that weapon..
it is implied in the description for beast mastery, but has not been thoroughly tested.
