I'd also need a list of which time zones you want and the HTML person would need the cities in those time zones(guild wars isn't released for every time zone but I can add them all if you want). Or I could try and slab one together in FrontPage super quick.

I know quite a bit about HTML myself. So if you wanted to make the timers, I could set up a page/tables no problem.

Thanks for the link, Sin. I dinked around with it a bit and was able to get it to synchronize on my desktop as a window, not as my background, but that's OK. Works for me. Looks great!

That's a great countdown timer. It even has good variable names like milliseconds, if you already created the countdown timer and the style sheets. Why didn't you just change the initial variable:
PHP Code:
var targetDate = new Date("April 15, 2005 08:00:00 GMT");
to different time zones, i.e. here is a snippet for my time zone (Central GMT -06:00)
PHP Code:
var targetDate = new Date("April 15, 2005 02:00:00 GMT");
As you can see, it's really simple to do. I'm on a computer with a 21.6Kbps, and I can barely open the forums in 60 seconds so if someone already posted this then sorry. Tomorrow I'll be back on my computer, I can do it then if someone hasn't already. Then you can just make "instances" of the timer for each time zone and place them where you want them. I have a thing with editing code that I'm not positive of the origination (i.e. copyrights), nothing against you Diabolus. I just want to be positive you made it before I'd edit it.

no, i didn't. i took it from the url at the top of this thread that sin posted. i didn't think about copyright, but there was no label anywhere that I could see, so i guess it was just taken off a javascript site.

I just set it as my home page.
By the way, the whole localized time zones thing, doesn't the game just release at the same time? So, everyone can access it at the same "time" but where I aam it'll be 2 am and for other people 3 am etc? I thought that's how it worked. Making a time zone based countdown useless, because the # of hours doesn't change, just what time it is when those hours are up.

I just saved the page, then went to desktop tab from right clicking on the desktop/properties, then browsed for the file and selected it. Works fine.
