Dye Question
I played the last beta, got a few random dyes from creatures. Yellow and Blue. I am a Warrior primary, and the starting armor has all little rings in it. When i used the blue dye on the body piece, the armor didnt dye but the rings did. Is there any way to choose which part of the armor takes the dye, or any way to preview how it will look before you do it? Now my guy has blue rings in his bogus looking leather armor The other thing was my mesmer. I used the dye on her armor and only a tiny bit of the sleeve changed I know there is a program to preview colors of mixed dyes, but not what they do to different armors, any ideas?

As of the last BWE, the system which was used for dyeing armor has been somewhat limited, and as far as I know, there is not a way to preview how your armor will look before you use the dye. Unless you've heard things that I have not So far, the actually area which is being dyed is pretty limited in its effect, and we're hoping that the system is expanded sometime near or soon after release, if not for this upcoming Beta. |

www.gwonline.net has a dye guide. They show all the colors mixed on a monks armor.

The monk armor looks like it takes well to dyeing, alot of the color is chaged. I hope that latter warrior armors and all the classes are more heavily influenced by the dye. As opposed to just the rings, i would like to see the leather on the armor change color. what do you think?
