That's why you go behind their backs. Find a friend who can drive, and if they ever ask if you're playing a new game, say no and act offended that they don't know what games you play.

Actually, lately there's been a crack down on stores who sell M and A rated games to minors. I myself have been getting carded every time I try to purchase an M rated game...and even though they know me at the EB, they still insist on doing it.

Luckily I am old enough to buy the game so it doesn't really matter.

Bah, the rating system is faulty. You can see the same stuff in a M rated game as you can in a PG-13 movie

The rating system doesnt work on just what you can see, but also how long you see it. Cause there are pg-13 movies with breasts in it but you just see them more often or for longer periods of time in R/M rated.
Secondly i am 16 and have never had a problem with buying games/movies that are rated R/M due to the fact that i am 6'4 and 245lbs (pretty massive). Although i do feel they should check ID cards no matter what, really sick of parents B****ing about how there son/daughter bought a M/R rated thing, then the news get all over it and the deal is blown way outa proportion. Everything is downhill from there. Final thing, they should make more games like online ones where they add the Label "Gameing expirience may change during play." Just my opinion, -Thumpy Last edited by Thumpy; Apr 14, 2005 at 04:43 AM // 04:43.. |
