Some questions i have.
my my my, i have so many questions...
1) does it take long to level? 2) is there a good selection for chooseing armor and weapons?, or does everyone ur level/type look the same? 3) can you only be human? 4) is it going to be up there with world of warcraft?.... :P had to ask. 5) is it very demanding graphics wise? 6) will 1 gig ram/ asus radeon 9550 128 mb video card/ athlon 64 3000+ cpu, run it ok? 7) what would you give it on a scale from 1-10? thank your time. |

No, it doesn't take that long to level, however, its not like its really fast. It's a good balance.
There is a good selection of armour and weapons. You can costomize the way you look, and no, you don't look like everyone else. Yes, only human. I hope so (By my standars yes it is ) No, you can have an older computer and still run it well. Your system will be just fine. Personally, i will give guild wars a 9.5 out of 10. The gameplay is amazing, graphics are stunning (lighting!!!) Sound is good. I love it. Edit: 9.5 out of 10 is not generous enough actually. Picky dumb details wold not lower its score that much. A 10 is much more appropriate. Last edited by Zeppo; Apr 22, 2005 at 03:12 AM // 03:12.. |

Halfway to the level cap is only L10 after all. And you can easily hit L7 in pre-searing Ascalon with only 2-3 hours of play, just do some quests.

1) Not at all. The game focuses on playing, pvping and exploring, not the grind. One of the biggest sellers about this game. 2) I can only speak on behalf of Necromancers, but the necromancer had a decent sized list of gear once you get into it. And were really cool looking. 3) Unfortunatly yeah. 4) WoW was to kiddy without an emphasis on FAIR pvp, at least in my experience. 5) It looks pretty even on low ends. 6) Uhm... I like burrito's? 7) I would say 9, a lot because the community in it also seems very cool, not the uber 1337 stfu n00b little kid bragging competion you get in other games. 2) There are several armours per class. You can only wear the armour of your primary class. It is likely that there will be more to choose from by release. 3) The only current class is human, but in a "fansite friday", Gaile announced that there will be both new Classes and Races in future expansions. 4) World of Warcraft will be dwarfed in comparison to Guild Wars. 5) You can run Guild Wars on a very crappy computer with a crappy connection. It's not demanding anything-wise. 6) Uhh... Not sure on video card. I'm not an expert on hardware, but the ram should be okay. 7) Guild Wars cannot be described by any number except for the combined hours of play time that every Guild Wars addict in the world wishes he could play in the past months since the E3 for everyone so long ago. |

2.each class has there own armor sets, there were only about 4 or 5 diffferent sets in the BETA but more in the full release.you can also dye your armor different colors. not alot of the same weapons.. some have maybe the same name but there quite different in stats, i saw a couple really cool wepons. 3.for now, yes only humans, but there should be more in later expansions. 4. IMO, yes i like it better. 5. i only ran it on my good system, so i dont know. 6. i have an amd 64 3000+ radeon 9500 pro and 512 mb ram and can run game on full everything really good, i never really experienced much lag in the game AT ALL. only a couple few times. i really like it i give it a 9.5/10 but there will be more better stuff in full. |
