Multiple Pets in a Group
Many players in your group have animal companions. If only one ranger has high beastmastery and uses "shout" skills, does it affect all animal companions in the group? Here's an exemple of a "shout" skill:
Call of Haste Originally Published by Spooky ------------------------------------------------------------------- ------- Description For 30 seconds, your animal companions have 25% faster attack speed, and move 33% faster than normal. Energy Cost 10 Casting Time 0 seconds Recharge Time 25 seconds Skill Type Shout Linked Attribute Beast Mastery Since a ranger can only have one animal companion, why is it "companionS" in the skill description. Made me wonder. |

I'm not sure what they're thinking either, but pet calls will only affect your pet. The only skill exempt from this is probably Otyugh's Cry.

Shouts skills affect everyone and everything in your party, maybe even henchmen(I'm not sure) but if it is a Beastmastery skill then it will work on all pets. But if you plan on playing as a serious competitive Ranger, don't go depend on beastmastery to take you to victory. I prefer to use go with Nature Rituals which greatly enhcance your party and weaken your foes.
But it's all opinion. Edit: Quote:

Well if the skill only affected your pet, then why is it a shout spell?
But anyways, my memory seems to recall Beastmastery skills working on all pets. If I'm wrong, then update me. Anyways, things might change before release so we never know. --Ginko |
