How do you guys know so much?
How do you guys know so much about the game and all the builds, its pro's and con's, and tons of the skills available? I know you guys probably played in the majority of the btea but man, I don't know how you guys can remember all this. I have only played in one beta for like only 30 min, and I thought it was pretty good so thats why I'm going to get the CE.

lol, lets hope I don't get as addicted to GW as I was to D2. When I first played it, I would play it for hours everyday in the summer. An average would be like 2-5 hours per day. Good thing the school year is almost over so that I have more free time.

Reading all of the guides, skill listings, and premade builds on this site is about 5 hours worth of work.
However, until you've applied the stuff in game for a while it won't fully sink in. Still, the entire process of getting good at this game (not counting very high level PvP) is a short one really. If you want something that takes a lot of knowledge try learning another human language *well*... That is a good 5 years of constant study. It's easy to remember things you enjoy. Take a song for example.

I wasnt supposed to tell you this but, we are bots, we are all bots!
Actualy I study. I figure if they expect you to remember history, you can remember how a game works. |

Yep
I got too addicted to World of warcraft. I would spend entire days on weekends playing it. I predict the same thing will happen here but I'm praying it won't.
-merge- Can someone give me a brief (not brief) description on what you are to do in GW. Is it like World of Warcraft where it's mostely individual or what? Last edited by Ensign; Apr 24, 2005 at 04:10 AM // 04:10.. |

The PvP is a bit like counter strike with a lot more options for attacks and defense. |

So pvp is only allowed in designated areas? Is there any player sieging or town-building?
Sorry, I usually look this up myself, but feeling a little lazy right now. |

Yea it does seem like an rts, but there have been mmo's with those two. The best one was... Shadowbane I believe. Had a lot of tech issues though, bugs, exploits, lag, oh yea, and bad visuals to boot. Even with that it still kind of set the bar, played it for quite a bit, and kind of expect those two things in just about any mmo I play now. |

Some of us are the all-knowing oracles. You ask a question, we spit out answers. Some of us read the techy stuff, manuals, guides, posts, talk to devs, and so on??? blah blah blah??? so yeah, that is how we know so much. In addition, I am pissed because I will not be able to play much, at the release. I have all this crap due for school, and finals are in a week. Blah, damn my professors.
