GW Microphone/Teamspeak Quesiton - Guild Wars Forums

In this game do you need to have teamspeak? are there any guilds that require their members hav teamspeak? because I have the free version of ts, and a mic, but i dont have the version htat you have to pay for that comes w/ the collectors edition, so please tell me if i need to have a ts, and if i choose to use ts, which version, the free or not free version i should use.

No, you don't have to use TS, some guilds may require it but that is entirely up to them. The free TS is to use if you are running it on your own system or something. The TS that comes with the CE is for having a TS server hosted by a hosting company. Most people/guilds have a Hosted server if they have several members as the lag gets a bit much trying to run the free version on your own system. If you join a guild that has a TS server you still just need the free Client software. Kinda rambled there but hope that answers your questions

You can download and use the TS client completely free of charge. TeamSpeak even has a lot of free servers that you can connect to and use for small groups. Many of the larger and more established/experienced guilds pay for their own servers because of the large amount of online bandwidth they require.
