Shift + Tab
This may be obvious to some users, but I was a little excited to find out that the dev team made sure that SHIFT+TAB works, too. If you are cycling through enemies using TAB, you can cycle backwards by using SHIFT+TAB. Useful when you're hitting TAB so fast you skip past the creature you wanted...

For one button target calling you can simply map your action key to ctrl. I found it to be useful, your milage may vary.

Maybe I missed it , but is there a way to "attack nearest enemy" or "attack nearest enemy targeted by ally" or something like that? All I see are "target" or "call" commands. The reason I'm asking is that I found it difficult at times to attack enemies, especially in large groups because it would take me a few tries to actually target them in intense battle situations.

Yes Supernaut, you did miss it.....the C key will target nearest enemy and the F key will cycle through them.....personally I found F to work as well and was easier for me to hit while moving. Then just hit spacebar to start attacking. You could also just mouse-click on the target.....but as you know already it is sometimes difficult to target the one you want.
On a side note.....I noticed there is no mention of F5-F8 keys. Unless they have changed this completely since last BWE those keys will open your main backpack, belt pouch, bag one and bag two. Assuming of course that you have all of those to open in the first place. |

I don't entirely know what the proper term is, but is there a function for recorded phrases? So you can tap ALT+1, ALT+2, ALT+3, etc., and have stock phrases like "Fire in the hole", "I need help", "I'll get you my pretty, and your little dog too", and so on?

Great list.
Wish I had come across it earlier... Doh! *slaps head* I had a hell of a time targeting enemies when grouped. Also, the "T" action confused the hell out of me cuz I'd hit "T" after my ally called a target, but I wouldn't do anything. They should really clarify that. Next time, I shall be prepared. |

I believe you mean "Watch Yourself". It's a skill which, when activated, makes this line appear above the person's head. However, if you CTRL+Click on your health, it's a clear indication that you want to be healed as well as if you click on a satus (ex: "Poisoned). I wouldn't mind those quick-phrases, though .

The double tap on 's' didn't work over the March BWE. Have to use 'x' to turn around now. 'z' used to select your character, it didn't work either.

Does anyone remember when they had the F1-F4 keys set up for the group members?
That was great for Monks, a lot easier to heal someone vice trying to L click on a name banner. Is there a way to change F key assignments? How often does a Monk change weapons in combat. |

In the options at the bottom of the initial sign on screen for guild wars has a box you can check that will allow you to double tap the down arrow key to quick turn around. |
