Considering these are the guys who made the best RTS games, and how this is a competitive game like any RTS/FPS, it seems only natural.

Is there a way to record pvp battles as a replay that can be viewed?

If not, is this something we can expect later on?

You could do it personally with some screen video capture software like FRAPS, but that will definitely tax your computer.

Thats not what Im looking for at all. You can record ANYTHING with fraps or programs like it. It doesnt take that much effort to code in a demo/replay feature into a game. Any fps/rts comes with it just about standard now.

I just want to know if its in the game, or if theres plans for it someday. I know a lot of people in-the-know about the game come here. Its a pretty important feature. I would love to watch the top end guilds or player hosted tourneys off demos. Another layer of depth.

Good suggestion. I would like to see something like this, or something similar to HLTV on Counter-Strike

Yes it does. For a game like this it would take a massive ammount of code, and the result would most likely be laggy servers as they try to record every mouse click/key press everyone makes. I don't see it happening, it's not worth the effort. Just get fraps.

Last i heard they wanted to have one but didn't have time to put one in for release.
