Guild Wars will be available in EB Games stores in Australia (the deal was finalised today). I don't have the exact release date details on hand at the moment, but I'll let you know as soon as I do.

Oh, thanks! I was convinced that the game wasn't coming here (I haven't seen many MMORPGs around here lately).

I got my preorder from www.GamesMarket.com.au and they were very fast about it too. My preorder pack was in my letterbox the day after I ordered.
They've obviously imported the game from somewhere, but no-one knows where, so the preorder item is a mystery.

I also received my pre-order pack after one day from gamesmarket. They have the release date listed as: 30/04/2005.

Two days late, that's not too bad, compared what I heard about EB, that they wanted to release it at the end of May

Woohoo. I picked up a copy of Guild Wars today (28th) from EB Games at Parramatta, NSW. It's the Warrior box. I am so happy.
