Reward For Lvling! - Guild Wars Forums

does anyone know if you get a reward for lvling like say at lvl 10... you get to wear a cool staff or anything like that.... cus as far as i see i have nothing to look forward too..

Did you get anything cool for leveling in other MMO's? No, except you get to pick new spells, abilities e.t.c.

No you don't "get" anything for the mere fact of reaching a certain level, the cool stuff is obtained BY leveling. You get the cool stuff by gathering the drops you get and then either finding something that is a good fit for you or finding useful items that you can then use to create something cool and usefull for you.

You get attribute points you can use to improve your skills. That is a pretty big reward there.

It's important to base expectations on Guild Wars, not on other games. Guild Wars was designed to have a PvE element that could stand alone, or open up possibilities for the PVP. And GW was designed to have as little grind as possible while still utilizing the PvE. GW also has a level cap of 20. So, a reward for leveling where grind and leveling is supposed to be minimalized really doesn't make too much sense. As it has been said, there is some inherent benefits to levelling, and it happens naturally as you progress through the game, but no special recognition for any uber level attained.
